The this a new section of my web presence and it follows a podcast recomendation of Brooks Jensen of Lenswork, who recomends using PDFs as the best way to share photo projects/stories on the net. I like the idea and am going to try it out with semi monthly small photo essays published as PDFs in hopefully an Ipad-SmartPhone friendly format.

This photo essay is about an image format I like, but seems others don't. It not in the standard list of photo output sizes of popular photo editing software, few camera can take it in a single image (without multi-image stitching and or cropping) and its not displayed well in most social media sites. Yet this format is pleasing to me, it looks normal.

Sky replacement is now popular in photo editing tools, yet many people overlook the sky unless storm clouds or rain are looming. The sky itself is a great photographic subject, not just a backdrop, just raise your view a bit, and perhaps carry a circular polarizing filter.

This photo essays is about visiting the Royal exhibition building's Dome Promenade, I took the opportunity of a special preview tour arranged by the Royal Society of Victoria.
